Hey everyone,

This is a recent commission I finished up from a returning customer of mine. He's an awesome guy!
Anyway, this was inspired and is my take of Corvus's Fortress Maximus.

Client wanted the "same thing" so I took C Metroplex, and put my spin on the project. The ramps are retractable, and the tower opens up to expose the "docking bay" for planes to land on. There's lots of little cool features on this custom, like the LED laser light that's a lamp post in city mode, but attached to the city mode's crane and forms a giant kick ass gun for the robot mode.

I also painted up 5 minicons, these guys were a paint to transform and detail. tiny tiny brush did the trick. I will have more pics on my site very soon, including close ups of the minicon robot modes.

Believe it or not, I like this one better than ol Menasor, but he is an Autobot, after all.

Agreed, It's to bad he's a pesky Autobot.

 

Is it me or are there pieces of g1 menasor in the tower, it looks like his arms. This is a cool custom and the bace mode looks realy good, especialy with the minicons on it.

good eye. yeah, that's a KO motormaster for the lower half of the tower.

 

Totally agree! No nit or pics from me, he is filled with sweet and yummy awesomesauce. The pics are awesome to F_R.   I just acquired two of these metroplexes, one is definitely going to be Optimus Miner(cant find who did it but his sig has him in it) and now the other might be this.

I,too, like ax23 and NP, prefer this one over menasaur (even though your menasaur kicks serious butt).

I got another one here also, for a MP Omega Supreme. I grabbed a "broken" OS off ebay for $5.50 was perfect, 'cept for 1 small crack in the tank treads...

Needless to say, I am using the rockets as arms and using the same g1 head on the one I bash together.

 

Kinda like Redlines Supreme right? I was thinking about him too but I still have the enrgon omega here that I need to paint up.

 

yeah. I was hoping to use (cybertron?) menasor as a base, but found he was way too small. I want to somehow beef up Metroplex to better ressemble OS. 1 thing I remember about OS is his flexibility was almost void cause his fat ass legs and arms.

Great work. I like Menasor better but I've always gravitated towards cars more anyway. I love all the little details you added though.
