picked up an extra jetfire, starscream and astrotrain tonight, and astrotrain has lost his wings, and thrusters, and is in the process of becoming a drill tank. also working on the combiner head.

preliminary head sculpting. still need to add some contours, but it's just fresh, so i need itt o harden more to save what i've alredy done. also need to sand it of course, but you get the idea. this is inno way near done yet, so don't point out the obvious..... just an update.

mock up connection detail. The support nib from mirages leg, connects into a slot i carved into astrotrains foot base, wich gives him a snug fit. also, the arms also support the weight just by the positioniong.

Hah love to see you picked up on my repaint idea, and love seeing you actually try to make 'm combine even more! Use Astrotrain for Drillhorn, didn't think of that... Excellent. If you need some help with the colorschemes for the other three I hadn't digibashed yet?

DUDE, yeah, it was actually YOUR IDEA!!! hope you don't mind. i just couldn't help myself but make the digi-bashes real. I'm going to be changing a few things from your pics, so that it works well as a team. and yeah, if you wanna come up with some designes for the rest, i can use the help/ Also, i've been debating on changing the head a bit. i was originally sculpting it to fit in the cocpit when it's closed, but the main looks off with that space for the cocpit to close. what say you guys? keep it so it stores away, or keep it seperate, and make the head more authentic? the hands will be add ons, so the head won't be the only thing if i go that route. opinions please...
