I don't have pics at the moment, but I painted an animated swoop in a manner inspired by stained glass. I don't want to just call it stained glass swoop or anything like that. I'd prefer a new name that sounds vaguely transformer-y. I want it to be a new character if at all possible.

Well in the uk comics his name was Divebomb on Cybertron pre-Earth, then Divebomb of the Predacons stole it, always liked that story.

So maybe Divebomb would be suitable, it could be Swoop who stole it instead?

But I look forward to seeing a picture of this guy, you've got my attention.

I think I'm going to go with Fragment. I really started out with the idea of making him look like stained glass, but the colors I used didn't really sell it, so I kinda took it to more of a "stained metal" look. The mold really suits the idea well though, so I'll probably make another one with brighter colors.

 

I'm going to attempt the stained glass look again with the other dinobots which I will name Prism (Snarl) and Shard (Grimlock) respectively. I'll post pictures of Fragment soon, but until then here's the bio I made for him:

Fragment
Function: Stained Metal Dinobot
Motto: “When I’m done with you, YOU’LL be in fragments”

Occasionally one of the Autobot scientists gets a bright idea. Sometimes those ideas aren’t all that great. Fragment is the result of an attempt to create a Dinobot based on stained glass. Why they tried to do this is really unknown, but it created Fragment. Fragment really doesn’t mind his odd color scheme so much because he dislikes hiding and considers it to be cowardly. Not that he could hide very well as a pterodactyl in the first place. Fragment is quite a lot smarter than his fellow dinobots, but he only really demonstrates this in battle, where his blows and fire breath attacks land in lethal places more often than his counterparts’. In ferocity Fragment is nearly unmatched. His presence in battle causes most decepticons to lubricate themselves. Despite this, he has a gentle spark when not in battle and is a kind friend and ally to the Autobots.
