Classics metroplex I just finished this guy and didn't have a whole lot of time to snap pictures, so i'll be taking some better pictures tomorrow. Either the head is sitting too high or the neck post is too small but as it is now it looks like the head is kinda just floating on top of the body. The red attenaes also doesn’t look like it gels with the rest of the head. Maybe have it attached to the sides of the head instead of the front? Other than that though looks good.
oh wow, you have unbelievably great timing posting this. Im putting the finishing details on something that would go perfectly with this guy. Very nice job btw, however, I'm just not feeling the antennaes on the front of the head like that, perhaps placed on the sides they could look better.
sweet, i cant wait to see it. any hints?? yea, i can def. see what you guys are saying about the head. i acutally like the way it is, but I'm planning another head for him as well, that will have the G1 visor.
Man, you and these heads! I echo the sentiment towards the head. I think if you bring it down closer to his shoulders, and place the antennae on the sides it would look much better. Personally, I think that the original head works nicely for this guy. Sometimes we have all of the answers there initially. I do like how you gave the head full articulation though. Aside from that, this piece sure is a winner! I really dig the alt mode you came up for him as well as the added armament. Overall, you've done a swell job, buddy! . . . and Merry Christmas to you as well, Metro!
I'm not a customizor at all in the very least, but my only opinion is that Metroplex's head and Omega's head aren't doin' it for me. Both of the original heads would work just fine.(if it aint broke...) Other than that Metroplex looks fantastic! Kudos! And Happy Holidays!
sorry...As much as I like the overall, I agree that there is something wrong with the head. Still, have a Merry Christmas!! I love you all!!
I've got so many of those Primus heads laying around, I never figured out what to do with them. This works. Really nice work!
Nice bot mode & paint job. I agree with others about the head. I'm not really feeling the city mode either. As it is now, it looks like Metroplex is just laying down on his back holding the guns and pointing them upward rather than a city.
Merry Christmas to you too. the head as a head doesn't bother me in the least bit. I prefer it to the original toy head. It does seem a bit high but instead of changing it maybe add more stuff to his traps and shoulders like canons, satellite dish and such. it might fill him out more. I think the city mode looks pretty good too. maybe fiddled with a bit more but it's really close. thanks for sharing. solid work. btw, if you have more of those heads laying around send me a pm.
