This could be a tutorial as well, so I'll post it there to, but wanted to share this with you guys and gals.
So was anyone else urked by Ironhides Sumo-Pose? His arms not being able to fold down completely made him look like he had an underarm rash or he was doing his Stay-Pufft Marshmallow man impression.
If you pop off his arm and take apart his shoulder you will see the bits preventing his arms from falling by his sides. Just grab your trusty Xacto blade and trim away the excess plastic. (I highlighted them in yellow in the pic above. Just cut away the plastic under the yellow lines.)
Since his shoulder is held together with the two screws you dont need to keep that tiny peg you see, so cut that little bastard outta there!
Screw his shoulder back together, pop his arm back into his sockett, and PRESTO!! Ironhide is on his way to better posture! Couple that with the tutorials youve seen about making his head sit flush, and this figure has got potential!
    Thanks for tuning in!
    Bash away, bashers! Bash away!!

Thanks for the tutorial spoonman. It was informal, but I think I'll keep it the way it is. Still thanks for informing us.

I personally don't mind the way my Ironhide is but I know a lot of other people aren't satisfied. Thanks for providing this for them.

    Thanks!

I think my Ironhide is now a couple grams lighter for all the plastic I've shaved off him, doing all these mods... :lol

Thanks for the tutorial :thumbs2:  I did this to my Ironhide last night since I already had him apart repainting him this works great with all the other mods. It takes even less time with a dremel as well :)

Just did this mod, thanks for the idea. I would however show how it looks in car mode cuz the cutting shows on the roof of the truck. I didn't think about this until I was done. People might wanna know that

Looking at the pics, an alternative would be to cut a notch in the arm joint, rather than the shoulder piece.
