The main problem i had was not knowing how to attach the parts & still have them movable.
Of course now i know how to make decent strong hinges.
The cuts are pretty fine but if i made one of these now i would definatly use a plastic kit, getting a decent cut through die cast is pretty tough plus these guys wiegh a ton. Quote: |

Breakdown was my first ever custom,i made one after the other over the course of a year or so & i got pretty burned out on them.
I still have all the parts for wildrider (countach) & a half finished Soundwave (pagani Zonda)
Heres a link to soundwaves head..
I would kinda like to do another alt at some point but i`m more of a military junkie these days. |

Could you detail your process of how you reshelled using the diecast kits? |

Could you detail your process of how you reshelled using the diecast kits? | Well it was a long time ago but as far as i remember i removed the main car parts from the original toy & used them as a cutting template for the die cast cars.
Except for Trailbreaker who i just kinda made up as i went along. |

Did you use a razor saw? If so, how hard was it to use? What adhesive(s) did you end up using? What obstacles did you face? What items would you advise other artists going about similar projects involving diecast kits? |

2# It was a nightmare,it took forever.
3#I used Areldite super strong.
4# Use a plastic kit ,seriously be patient & carefull, always mark out your cut lines first & sand/file any sharp edges left by cutting. |
