When I was using bendy Prime's head as the base for a Classics Goldbug, I threw Bumble's head on the leftover body for giggles. Nice to see that someone actually put the combo to some good use. XD

Well... bumblebees are members of the genus Bombus. What about "Bombus Prime?" It's Greek-derived (like Optimus), hints at BB's original name, and even ends in the ubiquitous "-us".

Oh, and great work on the custom! I actually wanted to do a similar thing, and might still at some point, since the Classics BB head looks so great and fits so nicely on the Bendy Prime body. I like that on yours, black and grey are the dominant colors; it makes the yellow really pop, but keeps it from being over-the-top.

Now you need to make a trailer for him with a Bumble-Roller.  

 

I agree with Mocha on the colours; there's plenty of yellow to make him obviously Bumblebee, but not so much that it burns the eyes.  

Like Sparkplug..? You could even mod an Armada Prime trailer, I suppose...

Wow. Thanks everyone, especially Kouri & Mocha! I used your ideas as a starting point and ended at Aucepidus Prime.

Here's how. I used Auceps, but I wanted to lengthen it to at least three syllables. Bombus: excellent idea...which led me to the family of bees, apidae. Mangled those words into Aucepidae, Aucepitus, Auceptus, and finally (sorta) settled on Aucepidus.

The head works terrific on the body. That said, any plans for modifying it to look more mature/leader-like/Prime-ish?
