With Project: Starscream on hold, this is what i've been working on.

I've just decided to make a computron custom.

Nosecone is a Machine Robo Rescue drill, with a bionicle connector that is used to put his drill/head on in his leg mode to look more G1

Scattershot is a slightly modified Energon Storm Jet. i chopped his horns and the front of his jet mode.

Lightspeed is a cybertron scattorshot. i use crimson and white for his body and reversed his cyber key functions to look like a rocket booster.

Afterburner is going to be made from Ransack, as my cousin is going to give me his.

Tragedy has struck this project. Lightspeed has been snapped in half and i can't repair him. rest in peace..............

I've uploaded new pics of the computron configuration and how computron's head is. for a new mold for lightspeed and strafe, i will be looking for the TFTM version of Blight and Energon Windrazor

Here's a new update! Wasn't really happy with my old lightspeed, so i chose the Movie Hardtop i got for christmas to be his replacement. I also replaced the original combiner pegs with bionicle ball joints for added articulation. I gave Strafe and Lightspeed bionicle pieces. They don't add any problems to their transformations.

 

interesting. are you going to add "traditional" hands?

 

Yeah, but I'll need to find a base for the hands though.

 

ok, redline, i've decided to scrap this idea and make a custom classics Computron! which bots do you recommend for afterburner, strafe, and lightspeed?

 

Since you're really after Scouts for this, I'd say Ransack, Clocker and Skyblast...

 

I'll look for those, but were would be the best nononline stores to find them?

 

You may want to try your local KB Outlet store. They normally have much older toys that they couldn't sell at the retail level. Phoenix has a few of them, they occasionally have older goodies.

that's cool. i have a GoBot that looks VERY similar to that Machine Robo Rescue Drill. No idea what his name is, but for a GoBot, he's pretty cool

It may not be a futuristic vehicle, but still its your custom. I do notice that your painting technique is approving , slowly but approving.

You have to take more time with your panting. scattor shot looks like he had paint spilled on him.
