Framed up and ready to paint. I just couldn't stand the "Bat-Trailer" that came with it so I decided to attempt my own. First time with styrene, more pics to come as progress goes by. Harder than it looked. It just tabs into where the axe would go and rests on a platform with the tabs in place, the trailer being built off the platform.
Personally, I think the axe/"bat" attachment (not a trailer) looks cool. Yours is shaping up nicely, although I again wouldn't consider it a trailer since it's not being pulled (but more like a piggyback camper). Still, awesome work.
Thanks guys. I painted a bit more of it and am gonna work the attachments out today. I guess you would call the thing an attachment j.a.f.o, you're right. I liked the bat attachment for a while but it was lacking a little bit. I need two more wheels for it to be right anyways but I'm not messing my Prime up. I'll have it done in the next day or so and thanks again guys for the encouragement.
Ok, I will post an update pic in a couple hours after it finishes drying. The striping and main colors are done. Really just need to be finished with clear coat and mount the ladder and do some detail work but it looks ok for a first time project.
I'm trying to get them up, I may just post it without the ladder or clear coat. I got a few new figures and got side tracked, I did make a kick ass "clean" 2 pack Megatron detailed up better though last night. I'll TRY to get these on here tonight. Sorry for the wait.
Well an update, a bad one, but an update. I went to pull the tape up and jerked the paint off, niiiice. So I'm repainting and wont put anything up, posts or pics, till its done. Trust me, nobodys more upset/disappointed than me.
I'm glad someone is actually doing this. i've been thinking of it for so long, but lack the proper skills to execute, haha. Hope to see it finished soon!!
