Thanks, Crobot! (I really dig your artwork and enjoy looking at it on your site from time to time). Keep up the great work on that, my friend.

Excellent update for the figure. If HasTak upgraded the G1 toys that'd definately be their Galvatron. Good job on the g1 parts, too. Its almost as if Galvatron was reformed once more by Unicron.

Thanks for compliments, man. It does have that G1 look and feel, yet more modernized and "classics-styled", if you will.

Glad to so see everyone digs it. :)

Thanks for the compliments, man. I agree, the Matrix would add a nice touch (maybe I'll look into that someday--either build my own or find something that will work).

I just can't get over this Galvie!! It kills me that the figure is not in scale with the deluxe size to fit my classics customs collection.
I am really impressed by your works! It's so G1 accurate :)

Edit: BTW, with all the mods done on this guy, why did'nt you put this in the heavy mods section?? I'ts far more then a repaint/minor mod !!!

I considered it, Ptitvite. I just wasn't sure what qualified as a minor/major mod. So I played it safe and put it here. If a mod wants to move it to the heavy mods section, if they feel it needs to be there, be my guest. :)

Also, thanks for the kind words, my friend! I've been impressed by your work as well, so keep it up! (Your Devastator is friggin' AMAZING!). And just so you know, in case I failed to mention it, I did this custom work on the smaller TRU version of Energon Megatron, so it does seem to fit in with the Classics line (it's roughly the same size as Classics Prime and Megs). I think I may have mentioned it in the WIP thread, but can't recall if I mentioned that here or not.

I agree, I have the Voyager sized one as well, he is only slightly taller than Classics Megatron and works well with the rest.

BTW, I am having trouble locating a good pen that fits for a proper Cannon. Do you have the model type and manufacturer for the one you used. I have one I will use if needed, but after seeing yours I feel it is too small to work properly.

Let me get back to you on the exact model of pen it was (I know it was a Bic, but it was model "XL" or something along those lines). In the end, I trashed the pen (which did OK) and decided to use the original G1 Galvatron cannon. I cut the end of it off (the end that would stick into the old purple arm cannon holder and I also shaved off a bit on the front of the cannon (because it was just too long and narrow). So by cutting it down some, it gave it a better look and fit better with the new figure. I still kept the very end of the Bic pen--the "clicker". lol (I used that and glued it to the G1 cannon, then hit the styrene to create the rest of the arm cannon.

    Hope this helps, bro.

That is a great idea...until I checked eBay for spare Galvatron Cannons...$30 plus shipping!!! WAAAAaaaa??? I saw a good "puffy Paint" pen for $6...thought that was overpriced...now I think that will work just fine.

Yeah, $30 is a bit steep for a cannon. Have you checked out the sell threads here? I see some pop up every now and then.

Here's the pen I used (it was the second one I used before deciding to use the G1 cannon--the first pen was just plain BAD).

    Bic XXL Pen

(I chopped off the area from the foam/rubber padded part down to the pen tip, then clipped off the clip near the end of the pen--leaving a small nub nearl the "clicker").

Hope it helps you out, man. I picked up this two-pack from Wal-Mart. Let me know how it works out for you and I can't wait to see the project.
