Don't know if anyone's done this guy as an ALT but I figured I'd do one using the mold I have my Soundwave and Blaster in. I've always loved the design of him, but I was inspired to do him when I saw the wallpaper done my BMGFX of the new animated version of him.

He can use a bit of touching up but I like him for the most part. I tried to capture his gun and shield the easiest way I could.

I like the shield and gun a lot man, good job on those! I think the only quibble I have is the head is too obviously a prime head, and not quite enough boombox. maybe chop the ears off, and then glue 'em back on angled back 45 degrees?

 

I like the shield mod. Did you just take the screws out of the roof, or something more drastic?

I do agree with Redlines statement about the head...maybe tweak the look a little?...

 

1.- Love the gun
2.- I insist, tell us about the shield

 

The shield is super easy. Just remove the screws that hold the roof on to the windshield part and just fold over that bit in the middle and it just sits on his arm. I was thinking the same thing about the head so I may change it. Oh yeah and the shield goes back on pretty snuggly without the need of putting the screws back in

 

D'oh! Why didn't I think of that?  

 

I had started this same thing, then I was pointed towards it by SQ7, so it didn't get past the headswap. I was using the Rid Optimus (regular mode) head for him. great job regardless

 

So you entering that into the contest. Looks sweet.

 

As far as I know I can't enter this because it was made 2 years before the contest started
