Alternator Motor Master

Say hello to the new King of the Road.

So I started with this, a completely disassembled Alt Prime. And for reference, keep track of your screws. I somehow screwed up and used the wrong one somewhere and had 2 extras. but I can't find where they go for the life of me.

And after much painting and a little melting, I got this.

Which nicely tramnsforms into this.

Which completes my set of these guys.

The head is from Alt Side Swipe. Actually it's from my Alternator Kup custom that I tore apart a while ago. However the head didn't quite fit on the ball so I needed to melt a part to the head to close the hole a bit. And yes the doors still look red on the underside but in regular light, they are a maroon which I can tolerate. I am also working on a truck bed cover that will serve another purpose. But that will be another post for another time when I feel less ill.

Yet another better use for a character than making him Prime... shame on you Hasbro.

That is a nice repaint.

I never would've considered that color, but it looks really awesome. Love the abundance of silver accents too.

Thanks. I was unsure of the purple also but it's a nice dark color. The only other options were silver or black. Black is already a nemesis Prime and silver just is to close to white. So Purple was a nice choice.

The only question I had was whether to make the silver go all around the truck or just the bumpers. I wasn't sure until now that I would leave it as is.
