I know I'm gonna sound like a dick when I say this (and I'm prepared for the flamings) but, I prefer the original head. Why? Because he's not Prowl. When they designed him, they didn't have Prowl in mind. It's Mach Alert.

It wasn't too hard. Thing is, the Checkpoint head has a socket and Prowl's head has a ball. I had to use a spare ankle joint ( stick with a ball at each end ) to attach it. The ball that goes inside the body was too small, so I had to wrap a twist tie around it once. Made it snug and it allows full range of motion. There isn't enough room inside the socket to allow the twist tie to bind up or anything.
