I thought I'd give Vector Prime the treatment. Then, I went after Optimus. Both feature extensive washes, with Optimus also getting a dark red wash to bring out some details. Vector found his missing gold plating as well. My picture taking skills are still lacking, however. Pics are clickable. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As you can (kind of) see from these, they had alot of detail brough out, and I killed the yellow on Prime. |

Of course, it always makes a difference depending on the type of plastic, but for touch ups and Joes/SW, it can't be beat. I can't scratch it off some figures, and I've tried. And I'm working on better pics, probably have some up tomorrow. |

If there's one thing I don't like on Prime it's the yellow bits on his head/face, including his eyes. I only like Prime's eyes blue. |

Whenever you go looking for acrylic paints, make sure you get acrylic enamels. Non enamel acrylics won't bond with plastic. One nice thing about acrylics, is that you can mix in a few drops of Future floor polish (which is a rock hard acrylic clear coat) and it will make the paint dry harder. Don't put in too much, or you'll end up with transpearent paint. Those both look good. Can't decide if I want to do something like that with my Op, or not. I want to pick up the Strascream/Vector Prime 2 pack, when it comes out. I intend to give Vector Prime a black oil wash. With luck, the oil paint will darken up VP's plastic, a bit. |

I would have a sig pic but the system won't let me. Meh, imagine something cool, witty, and relevent to pop culture here.
