Hey guys, I have been working on a set of Alternators Seekers. I have already posted early pics of my Thrust (which are still up, btw), and I have since added some things and completed two more. Here is a link to some quick pics: Alternators Seekers (WIP)

Seekers need two weapons, one mounted on each arm, though.

 

Well, I am working on an idea to add like another sort of blaster, missles or something. Adding twin motors would be sorta dumb though. I'm open to ideas (especially since this project is almost just half finished).  

 

Exhaust piping that becomes arm cannons?

Hey guys, thanks for the great feedback! There are a lot of "G1 Purists (whatever that truly is . . .)" who don't like the idea of anything old becoming anything new, even if the essentials are still there. I hope to have better images up soon that does this project more justice. I have 4 (maybe 5, we'll see) still left to do. A hiccup project is going to be in the middle of this one that will push me a little behind, but not too bad. I'll figure out something for extra arm cannons, though.

I love Alternators customs, and I've got a ton of ideas; it's just getting em made . . .

very nice, when i read the title i sh1t myself, i believe alternator jets were gonna appear befor my eyes! but when i saw the as just repains i was not let down much at all bue to the fantastic paint job you did, thundercrackers streak of pinky red rocks

 

Thanks for the positive feedback! Just so everyone knows, I am using a paintbrush for all of my apps. I am really pleased with the result. The strokes are just a hair noticable (ha, ha, "hair"), but overall, the paintbrush provides a really good application process! I want to have better pics soon, but also want to get the whole gang finished soon!

 

I would like to see more silver and purple on Skywarp, somthing like you did with thundercracker would be cool, the black just looks too much of a big gap, now if it were black chrome that my friend would be PIMP, but great work, really

 

With Roadwarp, I wanted something really simple. I thought putting purple on his alt mode would look sort of silly. G1 Skywarp's personality was very shady and stealthy (especially reflected with his warping ability), so I wanted to reflect that. With T-cracker, I just wanted to try a bit bolder and wilder design; even though his personality is much like Roadwarp, I can see his alt mode design being wilder. With Thrust, I think the silver stripe says a lot for him.

Well, 3 down and at least 4 to go . . .
