I was originally just gonna give him a minor paint touch up and ankle pivots but was talked into giving him a full blown make-over. Wasn't convinced. Couldn't see it. Even when it was in pieces but just putting him back together now I'm ecstatic and glad I was pushed into it!

    And just for fun!

Halfway through painting Six Sigma to match and I've started doing a bigger, fully articulated Scamper too. Will update the thread when they are done.

Hope you guys like. I'll be doing something similar to Titan Fort Max when I'm done with the team.

awesome. I've long wanted to do something like that, but I just haven't put him on my bench yet. What did you end up doing to get the ankle tilts?

    Cheers guys :)

Yup fully transformable still. Ankle tilts needed something low profile and the best part I found came from an MP Datsun torso. Happy coincidence that he also has pivot due to an extra joint so he can step forward and look more natural too.

Fort Max will be getting the same treatment. I can't stand seeing those clunky feet now, unforgivable on a toy this size and it really makes a difference.

nice. I looked at the MP datsun, and I think I see what you did. Did you sacrifice an MP datsun for each foot? Ouch... Expensive toe tilt, even if you're using a KO haha.

I have a spot ready for my own Metroplex... soon my beauty, soon!

    Is this Titan power-up compatible?

Nah both tilts from the same figure, it's the section the arms peg into cut from the torso so it retains the swivel and the pivot. If that makes sense?

Cheers bud. As stock no but you could mod some oversized Aerialbot ports onto him easily enough. That'd look insanely awesome!

If you're doing the modification now on Fort Max, it would be nice if you could make a few pictures of it to see how it works.

Will be slightly different as the foot transformation isn't the same but sure, I'll grab pics when I get to it :)

I always enjoy your customs. The smoothness of the paint and the cleanliness of the mods are refreshing.

Will you be adding any details or stickers? I do like the new colors, but they seen rather stark.

    Much appreciated bud :)

    Cheers!

Very kind mate, I'm going for a toon plain look so no details will be added. If anything I'd idealy love to lose some of the moulded in detailing and have some smoother spots but on something this size I just don't have the time. Sticker wise I generally only ever put a faction logo on.

    Do it!

I'm currently repainting parts of Fort Max but I will get some pics in the next couplr of days. It's my birthday today so gonna be in no fit state to do anything soon!

Wow! What a great custom Sunbow Metroplex TigerBlade! It looks so clean and deceptively simple. This should have been done by Takara as an exclusive "Anime Version". Did you use G1 Slammer guns or G1 Metroplex shoulder towers/cannons for the new shoulder pylons/antennas, I can't figure out what they're from, though they seem familiar. Anyway, this is very well done!
