So, I thought it would be fun to have some reasonably MP-scale humans, and what better than GIJoe and Cobra?! Enjoy...

The originals are Mega Bloks figures, mostly from the Call of Duty line, but I got random parts from their other MB lines like Halo, Destiny, Terminator, Assassin's Creed, Star Trek, TMNT, etc.

They're tiny but well-articulated and a ton of fun.

Those are super, sweet AMAZEBALLS!! Very good work on them. I been using one of these figures as my IDW/G1 Spike for a while now. Looking at yours, I think its the Beach Head body w/ Duke head. Just wish I had the painting talent to do some of these.

Hahaha, my painting skills are not good, but that didn't deter me! The trick is small brushes, quality paints (I use mostly Tamiya), and multiple thin coats (windex, just a drop or two, is a great thinner for acrylics).

I have lots of parts leftover. I need to do a G1 spike and sparkplug....

Love these figs! Your figs are great, looks like a lot of good use of base colors, as they have crazy rub spots. makes painting the whole body difficult! Where did you get the Star Trek bodies, as they haven't hit here yet.

These are really cool! What did you make them from, Megabloks minifigures? I've been considering picking up some Call of Duty Megabloks to use with my Transformers for some time now.

Also, you have any pics of them with MPs?

Actually, all but a handful are fully painted, even the ones that have useful base colors. When I started, the plastic colors were "good enough" and the more I made, the more I wanted the colors to be as correct as possible, so I ended up fully painting almost of all of them.

Amazon has the Star Trek sets. They weren't much use for this project though, as CoD and Destiny have different body construction from Halo, AC, ST, Terminator, and TMNT sets. I used predominantly CoD figures, so those others are only useful for heads and accessories.

The Call of Duty sets are really neat, even outside of their compatibility with MP TFs. I'll try to take some pics tonight with the big robots :)

I'm not into GI Joe but that's very clever and creative.

Excellent. My team of Mega Joes pales in comparison.

I still need a Destro and Bludd. And my BATs are just T-800s.

Which head are you using on Wild Weasel?

Edit: No, wait, it's a Marine head isn't it?

Those are extremely convincing! I wish Hasbro had done something like this instead of G.I.Joe kre-o.

Thanks for the kind words folks. It's been a labor of love for the characters.

Hicks, WW has a Halo noggin. I got one with the UNSC Firebase, and I think there are a couple of them in the UNSC Victor Squad pack.

Nice job! Any pics with TF Masterpieces so we can see how they scale?
