    • added silver paint on abs, fists, and arms

    • knee surgery, legs reversed; because i don't like the default orientation of his legs, showing those very thin feet.

    • transformation, still the same / unaffected

Thank you for posting this. It looks great and I'm glad to see it on someone else's before I started cutting up mine. :)

I bought a second Scourge to do the same thing. I'll probably buy a third and paint that one to look more like the Takara one. It's an easy way to troop-build Sweeps but make them all look distinct.

    Scourge

I totally had that same idea!! I bought 4 TR Scourges to be my Sweeps and I wanted to mod the feet backwards to look more like the Generations Scourge which will be "the" Scourge of my collection. His feet are big and chunky and this way they look similar. Nice job, thanks for sharing.

    Thanks, guys.

    ---- ---- ---- ----

TR Scourge is now my assigned 'Master Scourge'. Doing the minor paint apps was easy, but the 'knee surgery', I was even hesitant at first.

I did this custom so that he and my Sweeps, which are all GEN Scourges, would have similar feet design. Makes me wonder why Has-Tak didn't have this in mind when they were designing the figure...

TR Scourge looks much better Nutahal!

What cuts were needed to make this mod work, or did you simply unscrew the legs and swap some of the pieces around? If it's that easy, then I think I'll try it too. :D

Good job, I'd unscrew the legs and reverse the thighs too.

Hmm, I always thought of Scourge's pink nails as sort of fabulous Goth. :lol

    Scourge

The thing is... In order for this to work, you need to cut the "kneepads" off. Otherwise you cant really bend his knees like a normal figure. If you only keep him straight-legged, then you can get away without performing surgery.

For anyone who's hesitant to perform this mod, there is a simpler way to get this look on Scourge. If you swap the legs at the thighs and remove the stock shin panels, you get a similar result, and with much a much deeper curling knee, (The bar of soap mode is also much cleaner now that it no longer has those panels sticking out of the bottom) albeit you lose the paint apps the panel had and this results in a hollow, open leg, so there is still a reason to do the cut.

Just in case someone isn't willing to do the mod but is fine with an open leg.

Awesome! Why did hasbro/takara not do this to begin with!
