I was going to post new threads each time I made a new 3D Model, but I have decided to keep to just this one.

I've been very frustrated that Soundwave never has his iconic blaster in his recent figures and decided to make one for his new leader class release. Just click on "My Shapeways Shop" in my signature if you want to order. If you want me to make down-scaled versions please let me know.

Nice job! How many sides are you using on the circles you started with? You might get a cleaner print if you increase the number of sides.

I honestly don't know how to do that. Tinkercad is all I know how to use as of now, and currently I don't have the time or patience to learn how to use blender, even though it is a great program. Thank you for giving me advice on both my builds, I have been trying to implement it and it has been very helpful.

I made this slingshot for the Titans Return Wheelie for those that dont have the GDO slingshot. It's based off of it's appearance in Wheelie's Spotlight cover.

I hear you. I'm an amateur myself, but I'm more of a SketchUp man. When one makes polygons in SketchUp, there is a field on the interface that lets you alter the number of sides. I haven't played with Tinkercad, yet, so I'm unfamiliar with its interface. I did some Googling and found that there is a "number of sides" slide bar in the Shape Generator Inspector.

Good job with the slingshot, too!

Yeah I found that too but realized it only works for a specific type of shape. I think I'll start using sketch up for round shapes. Thank you for helping me.

Quick question on your slingshot: did you measure it against Legends Wheelie? I'm just asking because I have one on my desk, and was wondering if the car parts on the sides of his arms might obstruct the fork of the slingshot if you try to face it forward.

Eyeballing it, a handle that is 12mm long should make the fork clear entirely. Otherwise, the forks shouldn't be wider from edge to edge than, say 14mm (for the top part of the arm shield) or 10mm (if they are going to sit right on top of the hand). Those are estimates, though...I don't have a proper caliper.

You might have already considered this, so never mind me if you have!

    No problem.

Nice work on the Soundwave weapon, but that singshot is sorely needed! Excellent piece to the community.

Do you have any photos of actual samples to show?

Without a doubt, that slingshot is going to be in my next Shapeways order. I am anxious to see what you come up with next, because these pieces are a very, very promising beginning.

Thank you. He seemed to badly need a slingshot as Soundwave needed his weapon.

Sorry to let you down so much. But as of now no. I will try to save money or find a job so I can.

You're doing good work! However, Customs isn't the forum for showcasing renders, no matter the end result with them. Just update your threads very soon with photos of some physical samples. :)
