Last year i bought Transformers Prime Ironhide thinking he'd be the best choice for my Vehicle Scale based Collection, Turns out he was short really short. After 5 minutes of Blinding Fury the obvious solution came to mind, I turned him into Brawn, But there was always some thing missing, The head while a good stand in, just didn't have that Brawny shape to really pull him Together, Hasbro as if hearing my my prays provided me with he perfect solution

The crotch kinda looks like a cartoon dog, but other than that I love it!

I was thinking skinny Winnie the Pooh.

Still, like the idea of putting the Brawn head to use.

I like the idea a lot. You picked some great colors. The dog face is hard to ignore once pointed out (dang Pareidolia!). The paint is a little thick in spots.

I think perhaps if you make the area in between the silver parts on the torso black, and paint the black "nose" yellow. People won't see the dog face any more.

damn you beat me to it! i just did this yesterday but i've yet to paint him up. great work!

also the cannons when combined look a lot like megatron's fusion cannon, and brawn would get a kick out of that!

Not to throw a monkey wrench into the whole explanation, but... Did you know that the hip folds down when transforming into robot mode? Your Brawn has the hips folded up (which is the position they are in from truck mode) and that does REALLY work for Brawn's proportions. However, when flipped down, this mold looks so much taller and is in line height-wise with the rest of the Prime molds.

Just an FYI. Not saying that Brawn needs the extra height... he doesn't.

Any way, I listened to funkatron101's advice and broke up all the yellow with a bit more Black and Silver, how dose that look?

I was thinking maybe paint the chest window yellow too. Brawn does not have a chest window, so why not paint it?

You can paint underneath the clear plastic though, right?

    Like in this custom.

As far as the "dog head" goes. It is pretty unfortunate. It's not so much your fault as it is the choice in molding features. But I think eliminating the obvious "nose" will go a long way.

I think the yellow chest would drive this guy home, I agree just the belly breaks the character. But it's a wonderful piece regardless, good eye on picking the bot!

Nice. If i Was you I'd pick up some yellow tape and do a mock up on his chest and cover that damn dog face covering his junk. You can see how he looks with a nice yellow chest without making a permanent change and go from there. You'd get a basic idea of how much better he would look painted yellow.
