Well I wanted a 1/72 scale version of Sideswipe in Countach form and it just didnt exist. The wst was just too small so I decided to just modify a Gobots Spoiler to do the job. I used a mill at work to machine the sideswipe titanium neck to fit the gobots body and covered it up with the hood from the wst sideswipe. Painted gloss red and added black details, wst decals for the tail lights and toyhacks sideswipe decals for the hoods. I am susprised how well it came out. I lost the countach stickers that cover the door holes. should i buy another spoiler to cover the holes or just call it good? Also check out my other to scale 1/72 Autobots.

That's great! I like the more unconventional projects and this one especially came out awesome.

Neat! Not often you see customs of old figures like this. Well Done!

You did a great job, but you murdered a classic toy for this project?

Gobots aren't hard to get on ebay if you're into them. There are some expensive ones, but Spoiler's not one of them.

    Great custom.

Nice idea man. I had that toy as a kid and never even realized it was the same car mode as Sideswipe
