So I added on the DK-01 kit to UW-04 Devy. My thoughts are; A great 3rd Party addon kit even in Alt. mode, Great price, Excellent articulation addition, Nice color match, keeps the same back hand 5mm peg to attach other items. Very cool design. The only downsides I have seen is the left arm pin seems to not hold with weight or certain movement before coming apart, Also now having 2 cabs on Mix Master, which is not hard to fix with a little modification and repaint but now has 2 front wheel axles. Nothing (tab/s) to keep Scavenger from rotating during certain movement and weight. But overall a very Awesome upgrade at the least. The only difference in transforming, minus parts forming, is What to do with Overhauls arms. What I have done is turn down the arms and tuck into the waste which makes him look even bulkier.
I'm sorry, but when has an 'upgrade' been okay if it downgrades the overall figure? Seems like you listed a few pretty big negatives, but then called the 'upgrade' awesome. Anyway, I do like the panel lining you did. I'm not a fan of panel lining, but this looks pretty nice.
@ Yaujta ... It is an awesome upgrade. and the " negatives" are nothing I cant modify myself. Just wanted to let people know what things I thought could have been better with this kit. I mean if we are modding/upgrading the primary TF with 3rd party kits/addons, then modding the actual 3rd party is usually, at least for me part of the customizing process and maybe your to since you are looking at this post. customizing is a never ending thing to most serious TF players. I do actually "play" with all my TF's, not just shelf e'm to look at as i pass through, Hence the "negatives".
