I saw a fan mode somewhere on this board a week ago; it really inspired me. (all credit to whoever posted it!)

I decided to give a go at a full repaint for a G1 Apeface!

Is there any way to include the mini vehicle modes into the transtector mixes? Maybe the mini jet could fit at the front of the big jet, or the ape head could be used for the larger ape mode?

Well this worked out very well, especially the 2 ALT mode/jet. Excellent job here.

 

I like this, and it makes me wonder if apeface and snapdragon were originally planned as voyagers. They both have land and air modes, which is the gimmick for the voyager headmaster, and the more I look at it, the more the galvatron jet mode looks like apeface's.
Ill be watching to see if you do a snapdragon.

Ugh, Snapdragon would be awesome.....but:

I'd love to see him made out of a Galvatron, but then that would fudge up the scale, since "Apeface" is made from a deluxe Hardhead.

I can't think of a deluxe that could masquerade as a Snapdragon; plus, whose head to use?

 

you bring up a good point about scale.
A repainted clobber or terribul would be a good head choice for Snapdragon (I favor clobber).
As for a deluxe body, with the tall shoulders I would lean towards blurr (we already know they're remaking him into brainstorm, so he can definitely work as a plane)
Or you can wait until trigger happy comes out (who also seems to be a massive Blurr retool)
