yes, just knock 1 pin out and attach it to rook's fist!(the pin on the lower part of the black arm piece)

this shows off my horrible painting skills

if you want it to be there forever. Cut a bit of the hinge and make it able to detach and reattach

Cool. That's what I did to mine. I actually cut off the hinge end and screwed on a knex ball joint ball. I posted it in Radicons way back when.

Yours required cutting/gluing, mine was just a basic method. So you not really hijacking the thread :)  nice idea though. I too, was surprised that hasbro didn't make a cut to detach it. Missed opportunity counting the existing tab there.

As always it probably boiled down to cost cutting/design time/budget restraints etc...

Yeah, but if they made it a c clip,it would have used less plastic, or the designer forgot about it halfway through the design stage. the comic's back does not help much either shows nothing much.

Well, they had to redesign the mold into another fig(swindle, hound, etc) which uses that same hinge area. but I agree, they just went the easy simple cheap route...

That's really cool. Seeing that kinda makes me wonder why it wasn't a feature in the first place.

    Rook

That's a great mod. Gonna have to do it myself in one form or another. Thanks for sharing!
