Well, have kinda started on my add-on for Fort Max's central tower in base mode:

I wanted to add a bit to the central tower while Cerebros isn't plugged into it. So I've cut out a small plate to cover the gap, and part of an old slide machine contraption as the tower itself:

Have a few more bits to trim down on the tower part before I glue the plate to the bottom of it..

Thanks Grimlock! Once I got the tower assembled, I might add a mount on top for some weapons (which I might order from ForgeWorld)..

    That looks promising!

I need to start raiding old printers and stuff for parts now :lol

Is that blue ramp already on the original product?

    Need to get him :lol

The blue ramp is part of the original set, yeah; is folded against Max's back in bot mode.

Next stage will be to glue it to the clear plate!

Quick Update: just glued the tower to a mounting plate, that will sit in the existing tower and support the new one I botched together. Will be posting pix of it tomorrow once the glue has dried!

    Just a quick update (again):

Had to reglue the tower to its mounting plate with a stronger adhesive, as the last one didnt adhere properly and came apart when i checked it for fit on Fort Max. I'm also shaving bits off of the plate itself so that it's not a really snug fit.. Hopefully both these changes will work out better!

With any luck, it'll look ok! Kinda had to trim down the base plate a lil, as I forgot to account for a few layers of paint and 'Ardcoat.. Doh!

Well, is almost done.. Need to go over a few bits with some additional glue to strengthen it, but I'm pretty chuffed with how its turned out thus far!
