Any plans to re shape scourge face to fit a titan master? Like without the arms on the side and any plans to do a jap ver of the characters?

 

Not 100% sure what you're asking with Scourge. Are you wanting a version of it without the kibble from the small Titan Master figure?

As for doing Japanese versions of characters... probably not, at least not in the cases where Takara has already done that, since I'm not interested in reproducing in-production work. Where there are sufficient differences IDW or Rebirth versions might be viable.

I think He's asking for a Scourge face stretched to fit the entire titanmaster, like most releasee, as opposed to Scourge, whose face isn't as wide.

 

A pretty sweet faceplate would be a version of Sentinel Prime with the Optimus-style faceplate retracted like in the comics.



And I love the Headmaster Warriors! If you add Shuffler I would totally order all of them.

 

In-Hand Pictures of Titans Return Heatwave and Rodimus Prints




I got in my test prints of Rodimus and Heatwave in Red Strong and Flexible, Polished and Rodimus in the beta Black High Definition Acrylate material.

First impressions:

1. The polished materials have gotten better since I last ordered them about two years ago. The pictures suffer because shapeways prints tend to have a very matte surface that makes shadows difficult to catch on digital camera, and I picked red, which makes sense for the characters I chose but is still a difficult to photograph color. In-hand they look almost like release sculpts now, albeit matte, with a slightly porous texture, and a little softer detailing.

2. Black Acrylate is amazing. I look forward to when it is out of beta, but in the meantime, this material is comparable to the Frosted Ultra Detail and Frosted Extreme Detail materials, but comes in black and is ever so slightly more flexible. You can see the stair-stepping of the printer in the photograph, but not in-hand. The material is slightly transparent and light reflections can show the print stair-stepping that you can’t see with the naked eye or feel by touch. In hand it is almost indistinguishable from a molded part.

I’ll have more pics as I’m able to paint (I need some new fine tipped brushes and that will need to wait until the weekend.

I painted my red, strong and flexible print of Heatwave, didn't have any fine tip-brushes, but I think it turned out ok.

 

Aaaaand now I know what to paint my Blurr into.

Is there any in hand shots of tarn? Also any plans on a deluxe scale soundwave head?

Ok, I was on board from the start but that commercial head has got me hook, line, and sinker. I hope you have the other commercial heads planned. I always thought it was cool that in the commercial the transformer's original head didn't look like it's headmaster.

 

Everyone but Mindwipe is planned, and I'll do one of Mindwipe if a version of the commercial ever shows up where you can tell what his factial features are. Unfortunately, there was no scan of his line art in any of the art books.

They're going to be spaced out because they take awhile to make, given they're very Dery-esq, soft-edged design.

You keep adding more and more awesome stuff Trentulas. I love that you're doing the commercial heads for the headmasters. Those are some iffy designs but I've still wanted to have them as options for the Headmasters. I still need to figure out what Titan masters I'm going to use with some of these though.

I know you have a lot of other stuff you're planning and I'm looking forward to it, but I was wondering if you had any plans for additional Gobots heads and if you did would Jeeper-creeper be possible?
