You can't. His eyes are on a horizontal tab connected to the back piece. You have to slide his eyes through two open holes in the front piece.

The back of Galvatron's head is now purple. I switched Nucleon's body with Titan Masters Apeface. I think it looks pretty good. The purple on the legs and body isn't as light as the pictures make them look.

 

Yes. I appreciate this "How to" thread, but would also like to see this, too. It's so silly that Hasblow made a chest cavity for just the mask. It's like they were goading the fans into action...

I found this interesting pic from one of the conventions earlier his year. It's an early pic of Hasbro TR Galvatron. Now take into account the he early versions of the figures are hand painted and are essentially prototypes.

Notice that Nucleons head directly behind the crown/mask is painted purple. The back of the head which make up Nucleon's arms and legs is painted silver. Nucleon's face directly behind the crown mask is painted silver as well.

This is probably how Hasbro originally intended Nucleon to be:

 

Well, that certainly looks a lot better than the dull unpainted plastic one we got. How sad...

Nope. That's the stock eye color. No paint at all.

 

Cool, maybe it's the metallic Silver that brings them out more then.

 

First of all thanks for the info! I may have to wait until a 3rd party option is available. I know there are a few things on shapeways but the finish isn't smooth enough for me. I DID get the cannon adapter and am ok with the difference in color and the rough finish as its a small piece.

Now to your question, the color similarity bothered me too so I had to put my RTS Cyclonus back up there with him. I really wanted my Cyclonus to be bigger, but it just didn't look right.

Looks like you did an arm, gun mount mod, in this pic. I did the same thing (drilled a hole in the side of the arm) but I cut the arm fin off for clearance. somehow you didn't have too?
i also did a face mod. the headmaster doesn't transform anymore (Galvatron wouldn't let these creatures in his head) and is mounted to the flip up piece. still not much rotation due to the design of the headmaster mount. I'm hoping a third party will make a new chest piece (with square red abs) and a flip down head attached. new shoulder pads would also be cool!

 

That's why I love to have them on my shelf. I Unusually leave cyclones in his combined form (Galvatronus), and make them do the same pose (with Galvatronus standing behind Galvatron, normally just raising a fist vengefully).
