A while back I purchased a combiner wars deluxe Brake-neck(wildrider) from HTS and the first one they sent was a defective copy. I ended up having to buy a second brake-neck because of this and couldn't sell the defective copy. I decided last week to try to fix the knee and make a custom, so I did and this is the result. I used rustoleum primer, testors gloss black acrylic, Elmer's painters red and green markers, testors chrome silver enamel and topcoated with Patricia Nimocks clear acrylic gloss sealer. Extra parts I used was the Ferrari chest by shape ways and TFW member Steamshield.
Nice. There was another lockdown custom using this mold somewhere on these boards, too. Nice job though!
Great work but I still remember him being lanky. There isn't really a mold in the line to use though.
Yep: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/1045300-combiner-wars-lockdown.html I like your take on him as well.
I prefer the prior version, as it looks "cooler", but think the current version looks "factory", which is to say, clean, authentic and perfectly serviceable if released by Hasbro. Maybe they will steal your deco? Who knows?
i could see that happening. maybe theyll do it using the chromedome figure design though for titans return. id buy a lockdown headmaster
