Hello Autocons!!! Just finished cell-shading Jazz. I absolutely love this figure. I had to get this guy as he is quite hard to come by for a descent price. Cell-shading this figure was quite a challenge as well. It is hard to bring the detail panel linings on some of areas that are colored black. But thankfully I was able to. This whole project took me about 12+ hrs to build (4+ hrs per night for three nights) which is pretty quick for a deluxe class figure. It usually takes me almost a week and few days to finish a deluxe class (considering working on other household chores and being a father, LOL!). But i'm quite impressed on how it turned out.

(Note: The last four images are unfiltered. Just want show everyone what the actual figure looks like without filters from Photoshop Express)

You are so good at this. Sometimes it feels like I'm looking at a render of the character and not an actually physical figure.

Looks really good, but those lower legs aren't transformed right.

Nice job. I've been so anal about doing the same to my Jazz that I keep going back and resanding it down to start over. Started back in last September and I still can't quite get it down(cell shading).

Are you going to post a group shot of all your cell shaded figures?

It does take a lot of time to learn this. For starters, try cell-shading a mini-con that has less panel linings. It easier and quicker to do being that they are small and has lesser details to paint. They are cheaper to be replaced in case you mess up. Once you get the hang of it, try cell shading a scout class fig.

I'll try. It would have been nice if I didn't sell me cell-shaded Springer, and Sideswipe. I'll see if i can get my co-worker to return the Magnus i cell-shaded few weeks ago. Then I'll have a group shot of all of them.

Thank you. My co-worker said the same thing. It was very weird to hom when he actually held it on his hands. He said it looks like a printed cardboard with a different texture, LOL!!
