my version of a 'inbetween" body for megatron from the idw series.
I envisioned him to take this form right when he first quit as a miner and started pursuing the decepticon cause.this explains the "v2' miner body I hope.
this is why I also tried to add styling cues from his miner body and his devastation body to the current body in the comics.
he's actually a triple changer too now, bot, tank and cannon emplacement.
    mods=
    butchered donor classics voyager dropshot,
new noggin courtesy of the constructbots megatron/optimus set,
    modified cyberkey activated cannons,
clipped/ground down funny claw toes the original dropshot had,
magnetically and post/hole attaching fusion cannon/main turret, upgraded armor/bulking up of the arms, legs and chest,
all hollows/cavities filled with hotglue and big/heavy machine screws to lower his center of gravity(he can do some sweet poses now, regardless of all his weaponry),
twin launcher pods can mount in three different spots, including a trick he learned from cybertron galaxyforce optimus,
    styrene armor/details added,
butchered foc swindle for armor details and back wheels,
base coated in automotive flat black enamel, then drybrushed with Tamiya chrome silver "x-11",then detailed with Tamiya red "x-7" and gold leaf "x-12,finally,all clearcoated in krylon matte clear u/v spray.

two attached images are from the internet and both are what I based the color scheme/detailing on.
the other two are just before final clean, then after priming in black.

Dope! Looks good with that Tarn. Makes me wish I had taken a photo of my pair together.

That is excellent! Great use of parts to make a kick ass figure, in all 3 modes.

That's a neat use of that mold. I especially like the choice of head/face.

thanks for looking and commenting guys, along with the continued support, mucho appreciated:thumb

its a combination of a torso chunk from a bayverse realgear camcorder, vintage robotix,a 7-11 mini pop can that had candy in it which was then cored out on both ends and a rare earth magnet for mounting in alt modes.
the attached image is just before black priming so you can somewhat make out what went where ;)
