Been making a few Beast Wars guys into customs based off the recent TFCC magazine concepts and with only one spare Streetwise left I wanted to do something a bit different. So I decided instead of using a TFCC concept I'd just take Streetwise and put a tiger in his tank.

Bantor was always a favorite of mine as a kid and even still today and I did what I could to give him a (hopefully) faithful representation of pre-Earth Bantor.

And since I couldn't actually recreate his spring loaded baboon punch gimmick I took the beast helmet from KO Felisaber, painted it up like his beast mode head, super glued a 5mm post on it's side and gave him a battle gauntlet of sorts. At least that way he has some sort of primate face weaponry.  

 

I love the baboon nose detailing! But man, that paint job would be hideous on a real car.

 

could use some blue on the forehead, like the original toy

 

The weapon is a nifty idea! And when he's not fighting, he can also do ventriloquism.

That Bantor claw in robot mode looks like it might scale well as an accessory or weapon for a combined mode. Nice work!

 

Funny you should mention that. I'm working on a combiner using a few of my previous customs and I'm working to get it so that Bantor claw will become the combiner's head.
