Thanks man, big fan of your work you have made some great custom figures [/QUOTE] Thank you. Much appreciated. I am taking a break from customs to focus on some more important things. Keep up the good work. I'll be watching this thread.
Awesome... looking good No... the joints are compression joints. They are meant to be turned. The problem is tolerances. I don't sand the corners. I sanded the flat part to make the entire hexagon just a bit smaller (hence the sand a bit and test, rinse/repeat). It's still hard to turn, and is stronger than any ratchet, frankly. The downside is you only really get six rotation points. Just to make sure we're on the same page... i'm referring to the combiner ports on Silverbolt But seriously, if you're worried about it not being able to hold up his arm... don't be. Your ball joints on the hips are going to give way before the shoulder joint.
Ta, but a looong way to go yet Look forward to your return then ...the bug will hit you again sooner or later Thanks robh Thanks man, no plans for blastoff, i gave it to my son ...i do have the 4 KO warb Bruticus limbs on order so will be painting that Blastoff when they arrive
After I finished MP Menasor I needed a break to recharge my batteries. This hobby can be mentally and physically taxing. Not to mention financially as well.
My Custom G1 Superion/Aerialbots (KO Ovesized TFC Uranus) painted, tightened up the joints and added up autobot logos: Minor/Repaint: - My Custom G1 Superion/Aerialbots (KO Ovesized TFC Uranus)
