This weekend marked the debut of the new Voltron animated series on Netflix. Over the last two weeks, I've been hunting down parts and pieces to rebuild some broken Voltron toys I recently acquired. Lion Voltron has a new Red Lion head and a new Green Lion head. They were taken from used Trendmaster Voltron Lions and were modified to fit the old 1980s toy. Lion Voltron also has a rebuilt neck bracket, replacing a broken one. The hips were redesigned and rebuilt with a series of springs and washers, since the toy's legs were broken off. Smaller-sized, LJN motorized Lion Voltron needed it's shoulder fixed since the previous owner broke off one of the connectors in the shoulder port. Gladiator Voltron had no major mods or customizations. The joints were re-adjusted and it was just cleaned up. Vehicle Voltron has missing pieces and irrepairable cracks, but I really wanted to get it in shape to make it presentable as a display piece. It was missing its hands. Luckily, I had a pair of Combiner Wars Devastator hands laying around. They were perfect in size and all I needed to mount them were a few screws. Thanks for checking this out! ~Lou
