Actually, blue with green and silver sounds pretty good! What shades of blue n green are you going with?
By the time you give him blue legs and purple arms, you'll end up with a pretty much blue and purple guy. I'd go with just the nosecone. Just MHO.
They actually belong to a 3p Quickswitch. I didn't like them on him so they were languishing in the parts bin when I realised they could work with his wings here
Update and another question: do I put the decepticon insignias on the wing flaps or the flat panel on the guns? Thinking the wings. Other than that just waiting on his head JL

Haha!! Like I said in another post, no one likes Silverbolt. Everyone is using him for spare parts! Nice trim-work of the wings. I would break up the metallic silver by painting him like the G1 stickers.
Thanks for the feedback guys (and the shout out from deliciouspeter). The head is on its way so I hope to have the finished product up soon. Lol I've rebirthed three silverbolts so far. Also happen to be redoing a scattershot and Cyclonus into alternate characters too, also with new heads (coming soon...)
Yeah. Those Cyclonus figures are/were cheap at the HasbroToyShop page on Ebay. (Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Voyager Class Cyclonus Figure | eBay) I have three of them now. What characters are you modding your Scattershot and Cyclonus figures into?
The scattershot head will go onto Cyclonus and become Triggerhappy. Scattershot will have a Shapeways head and a modified nosecone to become Misfire. Now if only I could work out Slugslinger and some targetmaster partners I'd be set!
