Sorry I don't really have any in-progress pics. The white feet are attached to the back with magnets. In alt mode they just peg together on the ends, but I added a bit of styrene so they'd sit flush in the middle.
Cool. At first glance, it's hard to recognize that this was originally a Cybertron Supreme Starscream.
Holy shit dude, this is one of the best customs I've seen here in a good long while. Someone needs to get you a job at a 3P company.
There we go, I was batting my brain around trying to figure out why it looked familiar, and all I need was some audio clarification!
It's always cool to see how radically different a project will turn out from its source. This is the Omega Seeker Killer Supreme!!
The design, specially the hammerhead look of the front of the ship, is very similar to the Battle cruiser, a space ship from the videogame Starcraft. Upon one of these units being created, they will prompt the quote "Battle cruiser operational". You probably can find a video of that just by googling the quote.
Thank you! I actually only got into PC/Mac gaming just over the last 5 years or so, and only because of gog.com so I missed out on Starcraft. Thanks for filling me in!
Well, I'm afraid that would be kind of a costly prospect. a) This was pretty pricey for a custom as far as materials used: 2 Starscreams @ around $30 apiece, G1 Omega parts @ around $20, about $15-$20 of paints, plus various other bits and pieces (guns, 40 magnets, plastic, stickers, etc). It would cost over $100 just for materials b) This took a lot of work. Many, many hours. I'd advise either making it yourself or just buying an official or 3rd party Omega.
