Found this Rodimus at the flea market,no gun or spoiler, so went ahead and painted him as a Decepticon,pleased with the result.
Although this is a clean paint job, for me it doesn't look like nemesis rodimus. It just looks like rodimus with some black bits and a Decepticon sticker on it. Have you seen the masterpiece "nemesis" Rodimus figure? You could copy that. You're almost there anyway.
I don't think it's meant to be a "Nemesis Roddy". Just Zpartuss' rendition of Rodimus as a Decepticon. His own original idea.
It's halfway there to being a Rodimus Convoy version of Black Rodimus. Just needs more...black (cept on the chest; that's fine as is).
This looks better than expected. I thought it would be a Rodimus Prime with some black, but it's more. And red and black always work wonderful together. As posted earlier, it gives him a predacon vibe. Honestly, I prefer the (kind of) Shattered Glass idea, where Cyclonus is the colours of Rodimus Prime. In that way I would prefer a Nemesis Rodimus Prime to be based on Cyclonus his colours, best shown by the current UW set: Metallic blue with purple and some silver.
