Minor/Repaint: RTS Grapple - Upgrade

    Finally took some pics of this upgrade to RTS Grapple. I modeled it in ACAD and printed it via Shapeways. I did some tweaks to the v1 prototype for this v2 version and it didn't quite turn out how I was hoping. However due to the cost of printing and time to rework the model, I simply modified the parts I had to make it work.

    The hinge joints are still a little loose, but it works for the most part for bot mode and transforms just fine. Works great in alt mode to swivel the crane around while staying centered on the rear of the truck.

    Is it just me or are the pictures a bit dark? I can't see much but do like the idea of having the arm not attached to the arm when he's armed. Savvy?

    Sorry, yes you're right. The pics are quite dark when I look at them on my iPad. On my computer, they were just fine.

    There's more pics in the photobucket link that aren't as bad.

    that's pretty cool. I like that you made the extra plate to cover up some of the space that's usually left open on the rear/top of the rig.
