I wonder what all the folk who were defending TT to the death with "the stock colours look fine, quit bagging on TT for not painting it" think in their secret heart of hearts when they see something like this. Not too hot on the the dark pink bits, but everything else is fookin' A. I want to unclasp those silver thighs all night long.
Good lord! I wouldn't have chosen to paint his hands that colour or add the weather myself but wow, he looks so much better with a good all over paint job.
What kind of paint did you use? What method? Spray can or Airbrush? I'm thinking of painting MP Acid Storm into Skywarp.
Imhave to admit I prefer the stock hand and arm gun color but that aside you quite frankly sexified the thing; it's absolutely gorgeous! And I'm impressed that you even went somfar as to paint the mini version of his gun mode. Not sure if more impressed with Laserwave or Soundwave as Soundwave literally looks like Takara went and made a Ghost Soundwave for the hell lf it. Both beautiful piecesmof work!
Smooth, shiny, and just awesome. Well done. I can't imagine how much sanding was needed to make sure rubbing didn't kill that finish.
I have official and Quakeblast and I much prefer the paint colour of Quakeblast. If the official looked like this, I probably wouldn't have bothered. This is absolutely fantastic.
i think it looks more like dark blue-ish than purple.... and i dont like the pink hand.. color is too bright...
That's sexy. I'm glad that the normal release came in the colors it did, because they're toon accurate you people are color blind, but I do enjoy this scheme and it seems like perfect exclusive material for TT to do.
This is super impressive. What paint was used to do this. I actually have a grey Astro Magnum that I have to repair and planned to do custom work on. Would love to go with a color scheme like this.
This looks amazing! I am curious though, how did you get the chest painted behind the chest piece, I quite love that effect
