this is a giant sized bottle of awesome sauce! this is a fantastic build. the antennas as taps are genius!!
aside from the troll on the first page, who doesn't even know what its supposed to be yet felt compelled to comment, I think it's unanimous that this playset rocks!!

Not a troll. I simply stated that, even though I could not recognise it, thought that the quality wasn't that great

    Perhaps your comment was trollish?

You're a funny guy. And I don't think you know what troll means.

I am indeed, and I do.

However, you have necroed a thread and posted disparaging remarks about another poster,, without knowing how that situation came about or how it was resolved. You have thus opened up a debate that was already finished. These are classic troll behavioral traits.

    Thanks!
That's great to hear. I'm always stoked to get positive feedback! Thanks!
Yeah, the scaling issue really bothered me going into this project. Making the bar a somewhat "universal scale" wasn't going to workout. Legends-sized figures and deluxe sized figures seem to go well together sometimes, but once you throw in a Leader Class Ultra Magnus or a Leader Class Megatron into the mix -- they really dwarf every other figure. But I'm glad that you like this. This is a project I'd really like to revisit and make other Lost Light or IDW comic-inspired playsets. I'd love to do a dance club (as seen on Thunderclash's Vis Vitalis ship) or even Ratchet/First Aid's medibay. But we'll see... I've pretty much ran out of LEGO pieces at this point. :)
    *high five* :)
I'm glad you dig the taps. The minute I saw those LEGO pieces, I knew they'd be perfect for those. Thanks!

Looking good, as far as it being 100% accurate thays the beauty of using legos. You can start out with your rough idea and rebuild whenever inspiration hits and ultimately wind up with something incredible. Know I've done that myself, wasnt satisfied with my first , second or even the third version of a build but would wait for the ideas to come to me. Definitely a very slick start though

LOVE IT! I'm building an Autobot City play set now, but much larger and with less intricate detail. But this is very inspiring. Love the lights!

    Necro thread BUMP!

Fantastic! One of, if not the, best takes on Swerve's bar, at least that I've seen. Tons of detail. Did a great job on the lighting too. I'm just glad I came back to this because I didn't see the photo with the camera pulled out to capture it all in one shot. That's when my jaw dropped.

Wow! I’m definitely going to homage (polite term for steal or copy ) your idea for my display. That’s just awesome!. I can’t believe I never thought of uszing legos for sets/scenery. Im off to disassemble Star Wars legos with a bunch of gray and translucent pieces. Rung looks great. How did you get/make him?

Sorry char_leigh...I just saw your answer about getting Rung from shape ways. In my excitement about your work I failed to read through questions you already answered.

Very impressed love the idea you have inspired me! Don't think I have enough grey and uv lego to pull this off but probably build my Swerve a bar with other materials. He just seems a little lost without his bar.
Then maybe a bar for Blurr and one for Mirage as well.
I like your idea for Ratchet and First aids medway even thinking of Brainstorms workshop now! Thanks for the inspiration.

looks good to me. Maybe add some blue and red energon tubes for different drinks. Instead of all green.
