    Hey guys,

Here is my version of Prime. The project consisted of a full disassembly, strip, and repaint. I went for a metallic look, using metallic paints. Rather than go full weathered/distressed, I tried to evoke a bit more natural shading.

I used the insignia and fully articulated hands from our very own jream

Credit goes to my wife for the photos!

Let me know what you think :)

His paint Scheme kinda looks like his colours in the battle between him and Megatron.

Thanks folks :) . And that is a bit uncanny with the color scheme. I was just looking for something with a bit deeper colors.

Wonderful job! I really like the colors you picked and all the little details you brought out with gold and silver - just enough without going overboard!

thanks for the kind words folks :)

And yep that was my intent. I wanted to highlight the details of the mold without going so far extreme that it looked comical... Glad that came across as intended!

Those are definitely some smooth paint apps. Your custom is subtle and awesome. He looks like one of those expensive polystone statues.

Overall fantastic! My favorite bit is the attention to ornate detail. Like the gold bits on the legs.
