One of the board members had me order and paint Steel Planet's Mega 3D printed Dinobot. I will just say, this thing is an absolute marvel from an engineering standpoint, and was an absolute pleasure to work on. I hit a few snags here and there, but over all I am quite pleased with the result. Thanks also to Unicron9 for paving the way. The sword I did in a two tone, color changing paint. It shifts from black to silver depending on how the light hits it. The stripes I just went free hand. They're not the best, but I was surprised how much he shares in common with BWX Dinobot. He's got some decent poseability, and a nice range of expression, especially for a 3D printed figure. The legs are backwards in robot mode pics. I fixed it since then. Sorry, my bad. Also, I sanded him down as much as I could, but the paint rub on this guy is just a nightmare. Enjoy.
Glad you enjoy the figure and awesome toy accuracy paint job. Sorry about the broken parts. SP can send you replacement if you want.
Brilliant attention to detail of show accuracy. You even painted the blue areas in on the knees and feet. I'm holding the packaging of Telemocha Dinobot up next to the screen, it's got a huge CGI shot of him in robot mode on the box, and it's spot on.
