Finally done this little guy, I wasn't enthused by the Legends scale Pipes coming out this year, so it inspired me to get cracking on finishing this custom up. He's a heavily modded Igear Tubes. Torso and shoulders have been redone, head has been redone, mouthplate has been added and the back of the cab has been modified with a sliding peg so it can be slid back when he's in bot mode, to look less Huffer-esque and more Pipes-esque. Repainted to be a slightly darker shade of blue, and decaled up. I may play around with giving him arm cannons in the future, I'll keep an eye out for suitable fodder, but I think he's good for now. That looks great! If he had looked like that from the start I would have bought him! Are the new chest and cab plate scratchbuilt or did you get them from somewhere? I'm kinda tempted to make my own version...
Thanks The chest is scratchbuilt, as well as the decal-ed plate behind his head. I moved the balljoint of his head forward to allow enough room to spin around when the new plate was in place. The front cab piece with the windshield actually popped off of mine when I first opened it, I don't think it was glued securely, which is what gave me the idea to make it slide back during transformation. I might take him apart and take crappy pics of how each individual piece has been modded, in case anyone else wants to copy
