Hi all,

Introducing Huffer, made from move Ironhide with a shapeways head courtesy of SteamShield. Some creative licence on the head (colour wise) as blue just didnt fit, so it's now orange.
Just haven't worked out the ideal placement for the Autobrand.

Offset the symbol on the hood? Would it look weird? Don't really want to split it in half

That is excellent. The choice of head is great.

Depends on how you want to present it.

I think if you ran placed it a third of the way up the driver's side and ran a thin racing stripe up the hood and over the cab to accompany it. I've a crude depiction below.

I do think, though, that you'll need to go with a non-tranditional bot insignia color. Either a slate blue like the one here to go with the bot's color scheme or a black outline and just let the hood's color show through as the fill color. That much orange does need something to break it up.

 

Keep eating your greens and purples, Huffer! You'll get more Shanix and Energon that way!

 

Very nice, but the alt mode choice and orange head don't really convince me it's nice. Maybe another character would be more appropriate? Isn't there a micro master or subverting that is an orange 4x4?

 

Maybe but he was designed to be an updated Huffer. Huffer was a small truck, thought this made more sense, and my collection is based around the voyager scale.

Don't mind the idea of the racing strip but might need to work on the decal to match
