This is a commissioned Steel planet voyager sized 3D printed BW Dinobot, so not the rushed and somewhat sloppy job my first one was that I did in 2 days when I was too busy to put more time into it. This one took me a little over a week I think. I only do rush jobs on my own stuff. ADDED- Frightening Gerwalk mode, Dino with a few Maximals, and the most vile ride of Dinobot's life.
Beautiful paint job on an amazing figure. Great job! Got any comparison pics with the figure you painted first?
Is it just me or does that red color inside the tail look like freshly dissected flesh... it grosses me out how realistic it looks, I have a hard time looking at it... Personally I would have gone with a machine colored inside, mostly cause I have a hard time with guts and stuff... Great paint job though!
I do have a pic of the new one next to mine but in different modes, and I did some touch ups to my own after finishing this because it was looking kind off poopie by comparison. I'll attach that here, and a pic of both new and old in raptor mode to compare. Not a huge difference probably but the extra time and effort does make for a better final result I think. Hah that's why I left the red inside the tail glossy. With the ridged 3D print texture in there and the glossy red I loved how realistically gross it looked. Makes him look even more brutal. \m/
Someone really needs to make that design into legit plastic figure. You worked miracles with that 3-D printed material. Beautiful paint work.
Mind-blowing work. Some of those thumbnails could pass for stills from the show. You could probably spend the rest of your customizing career just doing these Dinobots. The demand has got to be there.
Thanks for posting this. I didn't know it existed and i have ordered one to go with my BW voyagers (since I never saw an oversized Generations Dinobot). Now I just need a larger Airazor and my Maximals are complete. Predacious are a different story. Most of them are too small except Inferno, Megs, Scorponok and Rampage. Waspinator works fine for the original and the new Generations one. Terrorsaur needs upgraded the most. Excellent job painting this. I sent you an IM, Unicron9. Tks again
I think upgrading a Terrorsaur to be bigger and more accurate the way I did with Airazor needs to be on my to-do list.
BWHUH??? What is this & how come I've never heard of it??? How much does it cost? Where can I get one?
