finally done this guy, my version of idw's decepticon justice division helex...

    sacrificed to the cause are
-tfprime bh upscaled legends optimus(essentially the voyager sized fig with legends articulation/transformation)
    -bw optimal optimus prime
    -energon deluxe snowcat
    generations deluxe scoop
    -rid 200 deluxe prowl
    -ko robotmasters victory lio
    -ko robotmasters optimus
    -vintage voltron yellow lion
    -dotm mechtech battleops bumblebee
    -hotwheels wheels
    -cybertron voyager evac
    -styrene
-hot glue and screws for filling cavities/hollows and adding weight
-dollarama set of led lights that run on AA's

he also features electronic lights and transformation sounds, along with machine gun and bomb sounds.
one of the attached images is from the net and basically a reference I was using as I was building this bot.

    now....onto tesarus....

    "watch me make an autobot-kabob"....

with the other members of the djd ive completed so far...

x12 additional 3/16" gun post holes(14 if you count his extra set of smaller hands)for those times when your other troops wanna add to the boom boom factor...

    wrist mounted tricannons,
    shoulder mounted swivelling rocket pods
    back mounted laser cannons
    armpit mounted laser pods
crotch mounted laser pod and enough heavy armor for a small battalion....
on the scale,he comes in at 946 grams,he really does feel like he's made from diecast now...

the switch on the lower left side of his rear armor activates the smelting pool light.
the yellow button is what operates the electronic sounds and lights in the upper shoulder swivelling rocket pods..

in the dark with the smelter on...

mobile battlefield smelter mode, with legends megs for scale.

if you have extra guns on the battlefield, this is possible...

"traitor"......"we gave up everything for you".....

Wow! He's a big mamma jamma! I love how you combined the pieces of so many figures to make this. That's some real creative vision.

    I give it a 5/7

And if you don't get that reference (I don't think most would) then it just means that the custom is really awesome!

I'd love to see a scene where the DJD confronts Megatron.

Always epic! I love how you've done these bro! Helex is a real beast.
I cannot wait for Tesarus though, as he is my favorite of the team :D

    Helix

Really nice build. Very creative. I am collecting parts to do the same character and I'm glad to see you went for Optimal Optimus for his main arms also. Do you have links to galleries for your other DJD customs? (Tarn and Vos) Would love to see how you handled those too. Thanks for sharing, totally diggin' your work. BTW, what is his 'cockpit/smelter cover' from?

    You nailed it Sir!

That's an excellent work! Very creative! I'm now feeling guilty for not taking my D.J.D. team project to the workbench.

    Astounding job man!
