This guy started out in life as a Warhammer 40K Tau "Crisis Battlesuit". Then I lost interest in 40K and got into Transformers, so poor anime mecha in space got shoved into a drawer. Years later, I'm (kinda sorta) switching back and decided to paint it using a familiar colorscheme: For scale reference: TINY! Gonna have to practice more and read up on proper mini painting techniques, but I thought it'd be fun to share here.

if you're getting back into 40k you should a whole tau force painted up like that. would be cool colors for some fire warriors
I absolutely hate the Tau, but back in the day, I commission-painted a battleforce for someone that included three of these suits. Even back then it reminded me of Shockwave, and I even asked him if I could do it in purple. The answer was 'no', of course, but it's cool seeing how it may have looked.
