Hands for his repair bay and 'power loader' mode (no pics of either mode yet, but it works real nice) They also form nice little gun pods with a little command center inside
Thanks for all the comments folks This guy has hijacked my life right now, but it's a labour of love so...all's well I guess Some more wip pics, mostly to show the work going into the Convoy robot (cab pics soon) Basically, his torso has been made taller and wider; upper and lower arms lengthened and widened; brand new smokestacks; a 'forward' knee joint for his new transformation and gas tanks added to the legs. Added a scratch built hinged flap on this back, and a 5mm post, this is for his new cab transformation. I gutted part of the inside and he now has space for a 'pilot' (can you see him?) The reason for all these mods is, well...the Deluxe Prime is...bad in cab mode!! So I'm making him bigger and more square. Here's a shot of the trailer showing some interaction with the pilots, the gun pods (CW hands/feet) and what will be powered Buggy. (just down in the corner you can see the UM head has been hollowed and can accommodate a second 'Pilot' for the little jet. The main reason for this is it now sits over the cab robot head as a kind of 'Mask' for Powered Convoy mode) More pics soon I'm now working on one final fitting inside the trailer to hold the cab robot firmly in place.
Sorry once again for the lack of life here I have done more work, but here are some older wip photos-I can't finish him yet as I need more black paint and some new brushes but just can't seem to get around to getting them! For him to fit inside the trailer armour, and also to make the cab more 'square' I had to devise a new transformation which requires the hip and leg section to come off of the body. I would have liked to create some kind of folding arm, but I wasn't too confident I could make it work within the given space, so instead I went for 'wires' with a peg on his back that fits into the screw hole on the hip part. It's not partsforming if it's all still connected Plus, I like the wire look, and it's not too bad, since this is a diaclone mech and not a transformer! Prototype black! More pics soon, hopefully

Man, this is awesome... The reason I don't own this figure is because I HATE how ugly that cab looks. This is how it SHOULD of been done! Can't wait to see the finished product!
Seeing the pic in the first post it was a cool repaint. Scrolling down to see there's actually a Prime that fits in the armor... Amazing!

Cheers. As PM Prime's head is just a helmet, won't it fit over the deluxe head? And there MUST be a way to fold the legs of the deluxe to fit? There was a third party fig made by xovergear, which allowed the legs to push through the back and fold along the back. Maybe that would work?
If you are wanting to do this to make a more accurate PM Prime, then yes, the helmet would fit. You may also be able to keep the legs at the back if you turn them backward, then fold them upward, but you'd have to remove the 'super' robot chest plate for that; which is fine for the titans return PM Prime, but since this I am making is a powered convoy from CW Magnus, the chest plate is needed. The only way to make room for the legs is to cut out the back plate, which means the trailer in vehicle mode would have a very useless empty space.
