    That surprisingly works really well. Question: Is that one of the insect bots that's the donor for the crown?

    I always find it amazing how just a coat of paint can change one character into another without majorly changing components.

    This guy I actually didn't really take apart to paint. A lot of the custom build permanently attached pieces that might otherwise come off. Just a lot of masking and careful touchup. The crown is actually 5 shoulder joints from megablocks figures with epoxy putty. Having the fingers on joints was the only way to make the head fit for the vehicle mode.
