I'm still waiting for a combiner gun that breaks up into the individual weapons. These are cool tho. Really good job.
Wow really nice print, don't think my printer can do that. ABS, what layer height? And how did you orientate the guns for printing, cause I've tried a couple orientations on my designs but they don't come out as great as yours. Also did you use acetone to smoothen the surface of the guns?
Hi Swinne, I orientate the guns vertical, this gives me the best results in printing, but they take longer and are less resistant. My setings are: Material: ABS Black Layer: 0,15 curiosly this layer height gives me better results than 0,1 Infill: 40% Raft: yes Suport: yes Speed: 30mm/sec This is important, I tried printing al 60mm/sec but the first layers was a mess. No post production.
Wow that result without even smoothening it with acetone, just a tip try and do this you will get legobrick quality smoothness! (Check my pictures of marvin on 3dhubs: https://www.3dhubs.com/turnhout/hubs/vertigo ) But still really nice print gonna try it myself after I finished printing my arms and feet for KO Uranos.
yea, I tried acetone vapor treatment, in fact the pieces had a high gloss finish, almost like glass. Good looking Marvin you got there , that little guy was a real challenge for me.
I was doing some research and actualy the shipping rates are not so high, goes between USD$10.00 to 15.00. I'm selling this set for USD$21.00 in my country
