Basic tweaking of the existing Hound mold. What a badass custom it turns out though! - removed rollbar - removed back seats (pain in the A**!) - styrene floorboard in back area - new hubcaps - 50 cal gun added - Reprolabels (thanks Jarrod, Plowking and Superquad for the inspiration and advice!) Gun and floorboard simply life out upon transformation. Bot mode:
This makes me want to make one now. Too bad I don't have an extra one. Awesome job! jealous and want one now.
Thanks man, means a lot coming from you. I 100% ripped off the brilliance of Jarrod's custom as seen here in the Customs gallery....having said that, I DID do all the resourcing and handiwork myself. But still, credit goes to where credit is due. All in all, I couldn't be happier with it.
Awesome stuff man. Never get tired of seeing Alternator customs either...keep 'em coming!! I'd say swap in those back seats you removed in place of the front seats...it'll help sell the look even more. *if I spot a usable winch, I'll send it your way.
You did some really nice work here. It helps that the label set Reprolabels made for this is so well done.
Thanks man, means a lot! I know you know your stuff. The only thing I bailed on is painting the seats. I don't do good enough paint work to make it look like it was meant to be....and I didn't want to cheapen the look of the mod by attempting it. Otherwise, it came out exactly how I wanted it.
I've been thinking about doing the same with mine. Shame that there isn't a 100% accurate head on Shapeways.
